Get a cork
Place inbetween front teeth the long way
bite down on it for a minute every day

Its called a TMD. TMJ refers to the actual joint in the jaw. Idk why everyone always says "I have TMJ"

i have been officially diagnosed with TMJ from a TMJ specialist. I've had jaw x-rays etc.

At first I was prescribed muscle relaxers (freakin sweet) but than I was taken off them and told to do specific jaw movement exercises once in awhile, which I do. More specifically, the specialist recommended i DONT EAT MEAT LOL i was thinking "fuuuuck that i will eat meat even if it kills me"

They call it TMJ because they don't feel like trying to explain the medical term to people who will have no fkin idea what they are talking about. Its a disorder with your temporomandibular joint (TMJ for short)

i have to mention that in my experience, dental health problems are primarily caused by diet - internally after ingestion, and that the quality of a certain food affects tooth health not so much by sticking to teeth while you eat but by whatever nutrients (and toxins) it releases when you digest it. so for example sugar doesnt damage your teeth by coating it but by the affect it has on your total health. although foods do cause acidity to rise in the mouth which can be harmful to the enamel (tooth coating), which can also be increased by grinding teeth by TMJ displacement, the acids in the mouth can be neutralized by rinsing with water a while after a meal. it seems to me that toothpaste isn't as important as diet and in fact reading all that stuff about fluoridation and mind control with its buildup in the pineal gland (the absurdism of the concept of making the teeth stronger by adding fluoride to the water-supply) really seems like the ppm count is kinda high for us to be brushing twice a day

as i wrote before that i expected for it to be hard for me to have the oil in my mouth that long without swallowing it involuntarily it gets hard once saliva starts to build up but i guess you can get used to it. the first time i tried it my gums started tingling but it might have been because i put too much pressure into the swirling. i read somewhere that you should take two tbsp when oil pulling when i could barely fit one without the swallowing problem so i'd suggest a spoon but not too much over the brim. for anyone interested in healthy dieting, you can also read about the multiple benefits of cooking with coconut oil and also the many other uses it has for health and cleaning around the house
