i rarely come on the health and fitness subforum, but if u want motivation man.. look no further than watching some boxing..

Maybe my tidbit can help... I work +60-70 hr weeks but the gym is my sanctuary to blow off whatever emotions I may have that day. You need complete focus going into the gym (going in angry and thinking you'll bust out 10 reps at your 1 rep max isn't gonna happen) but if you can focus the feelings you have that day into something productive then that's a good start. Channel those emotions as motivation, it doesn't have to be anger or resentment, it could even be something good that happened that day. How about ever being slighted by your boss, a girl or friend? Use those things as motivation on days you can't will yourself to the gym but before using those tactics you have to want it yourself for you.

start by lifting 3x a week, and that is it... if you try to go every day you will fail

and go on monday, that is a big thing

stay away from sugar drinks (pop, gatorade, even juice), dont drink much alcohol, and jog for 20 minutes a day and you'll lose weight.

Lastly, actually drink plenty of water.
