Then you're somewhere between wanting to go 7x and 3x

If you are looking for long term and consistent gains then is do one week 7x and one week 3x and rotate them

That way your body is trained into a shredded 6-8 pack hybrid weapon athlete

Well if you have a good plan, you hit your abs on compounds (for stability/maintaining your spine in a good position). Then over the course of four days, you could isolate abs twice or so, I guess. Every second day sounds logical. I'd put them apart from any squats or deadlifts.

You need to hit them for that elusive 6 pack, but also make sure your diet is in check.

Abs are muscles just like any other muscle... would u hit chest every day lightly or twice a week hard?
