I currently work at Gold's Gym. I used to work at a NICER gym before I moved states.

Gold's is pretty generic and you get a decent gym for the price ($9.99/month + Start up fees)

I was walking into my buddy's gym yesterday and heard some old man say "The only thing that'll make me happy is seeing a big mushroom cloud over Syria, just nuke them all and get it over with"
Being a natural born Syrian citizen I almost tore him a new one, but thought twice because his senility is probably kicking in at an all time apex

No deadlift platform
