I don't want to sound like a jerk, but ihmo unless you're injured or would injure yourself by lifting, suck it up. I prefer to workout when I'm sore (to some degree) because then I get a really good connection. The more you can feel what you're working, the better imho. Until it's extreme and you're going to actually injure yourself. Then it becomes stupidity.

It's mostly for my hand. Sucks to bench with a sore hand. I was probably gonna go without it, I'm just pretty beat up, it's not a muscle sore, idgaf about working out when my muscles are sore lawl

Okay a side question. I know ibuprofen is bad for muscle recovery etc. but is it okay if I take one before I lift just this once because my body is super sore and hurts after last nights football game lol. I don't know if my hands could handle the bar without some ibuprofen.

Pretty sure the tests for ibuprofen were well above 1000mg dosages that affected muscle recovery.

Thanks I'll just take 200 mg.

Do you know anything about how much affects ligament recovery? I try to absolutely take no anti inflammatories

Thanks I appreciate this.

And is bigger better? Should they bulk?

First off, it would depend on your type of offense. Weight is good if you're a power house, but you still need to be able to move. If you're primarily a shotgun - 4 or 5 wide team, you need them to be quick.

The bigger is always better as long as they're still fast enough to get their blocks.

Well last night they couldn't do chit up the middle, couldn't pass block, or not much blocking in general. I think maybe they're too weak and out of shape.
