I have no problem with humans they learn to coexist on this planet but I honestly think that would require such a radical shift in mentality for 7 billion people that it would never happen. I wouldn't trust it to happen, I would just wipe the slate clean and hope we never repopulated
A shift in consciousness that big for everybody to learn to love and express love for one-another is
impossible. Therefore I'm 100% with you on this one.

Just think about what absolutely ridiculous advancements humans have made since the middle-ages. Are you really ready to say humans are incapable of growth as a species? There is no chance we could find solutions to these at the moment impossible problems? I don't get how someone could have the audacity to think their mind can hold the type of information required to make a decision like wiping out humanity, let alone all life on the planet.
As for life starting up again, the Fermi Paradox is a really interesting explanation on the concept of why we haven't found other life forms which will give you a better idea of how rare what we have here on earth is.
Here's a lengthy article if you want to learn about, feel free to wiki it or whatever as well.
http://waitbutwhy.com/2014/05/fermi-paradox.htmlYes the industrial revolutions, new science, advancements in research, everything's moving ahead and has been moving ahead. I'm not saying humans are incapable of growth as a species.
But technology is a double-edged sword, and quite frankly the people in charge right now are moving towards destruction of humanity.
e: but if the universe is infinite, then well there are infinite possibilities for self-sustaining life forms such as ourselves.
