any suggestions? ive kinda hit a plateau lately doing the same things i was doing before. should i cut back on the carbs?

or could i just not be noticing a difference...idk

from few things i've read here carbs really don't make a difference (low carb diets / high carb diets)

could try http://iifym.com/iifym-calculator/

or go on a more specific diet, possibly ask craynor

i would watch out for the loose skin syndrome after losing extreme fat, so you should do some research on that

I don't think I have that. 35lbs in 10months doesn't seem too extreme

well i went from 210 area down to 185 and started to bulk (like 2,700 calories / 180g protein / 380g carbs / 70g fat) something like that following iifym

i started putting on a little bit of weight but noticed my fat going down and was getting stronger / more muscle definition
i was just going to do this for like 6~ months then go on a hard cut to fully focus on losing fat and maintaining muscle

i'm no expert though just been doing what has been working for my body but i'm in same boat with belly fat

i would assume this, slow muscle gain and slow fat loss if you do way i'm doing more than likely, but it's became noticeable over last 2 months

Understand what you're claiming is impossible lol. It's one or the other.

Can you elaborate more on that? I know for a fact I've gained muscle due to being able to lift more and it looks like I've slimmed down some so is that fat just hiding? I don't fully understand how a lot of this works either I haven't really gained or lost any weight either in those 2 months or so which led me to believe I lost fat and gained a tiny bit of muscle due to hitting higher prs and what not

There are other factors that can contribute to hitting PRs besides adding muscle.... Only way to gain muscle is calories in > calories out....Only way to lose (fat) is calories in < calories out. As others have stated, there is no both.

So I'm probably just losing fat rather than gaining muscle?

No, you can't effectively have it both ways

Ding Ding.

You could follow a maintenance routine, but it will yield slow results. Much slower than if you just bulked then cut or whatever.
