Lol, funny enough, when I was going through problems the weight room was bad for me. It literally started my 3ish month long hiatus (though the problems were about 3 weeks). Not sure why, but lifting made it worse because it gave me more time to just think and be by myself in my own mind. Rest 60-90 secs per set - pure thinking and it got overwhelming. It was a strange thing hehe.

Kind of agree with this. Nothing will really take your mind off her other than other girls. Use a girl to help u move on.

Just make sure u delete any possible connection u have with her so u never see/hear of her again or at least it's rare.

I had one rough break-up and all the rest were pretty simple/smooth -- going from that experience I just tried not to dwell on it. It hurts but ultimately it's most likely not the right person for you, so now you have the opportunity to change and grow--and find someone new.

My solution was somewhat immature but I was also 18-19 years old. I partied and had some one night stands right off the bat, but that was also because I was just starting university and I wanted to have fun. It helped more that I had something new to involve myself in (classes, etc).

Either way, the positive thing I did was to take action and change focus as soon as I could. That is what I'd advise to anyone. It doesn't help to worry or to feel bad, so you may as well find ways to shift your focus on what you can now enjoy (future, freedom, etc) :)

That's understandable though I never looked at it from that perspective. Idk I was the opposite when I went through a break up in my first long relationship. It's what made me get srs about lifting and got interested into bodybuilding. Was the most motivated I've ever been in my life. lmao as much as I care about my current gf, another break up would prob be good for me if I got that level of motivation back. It wasn't just in working out i was 100% motivated in everything I did.

No better feeling in the world than hearing somebody say they regret leaving you. Went from a 170 lbs skinny fat turd to being pretty decent sized and decently aesthetic. She asked me to come see her during winter break of my freshman year of college and broke down crying to me about how it was her biggest regret and she'd marry me on the spot if I asked. Ofc I didn't give a shit lol but it did feel good to hear

Jerk off to your memories of her

Reminisce about all the good times you had together and how great she was and how bad you fucked things up

Remember that you'll never find anyone else that cares about you and you'll be forever alone

Also stop lifting, eating and having fun it just takes time away from thinking about how much you miss her

she didnt show much interest. I was the one doing all the work, she was like there for the ride. she had more money then me, that was the only area where I didnt spend as much.

i guess you workout alone? i lift with friends so for me it was the exact opposite, focus when i was lifting and messing around with friends during rest period.

this is what has been keeping me from calling her or trying to get back with her and saying i messed up. I always remember that we were both never truly happy together.
