When I was in the military I got a shit ton of tattoos, and sweat never affected any of them. Your trousers block it from the sun, which matters more than sweat.

when my dad was in the AF years ago, they gave him 30 days leave. did they get rid of that?

dunno about aussie, but in the US you tattoo all your calves. and it's more commonly referred to as branding.

If that's the case I can't see why this guy would get sweat on his right calf especially since it's quite cold up high in planes
