Chicken is like $1.99 or $2.99 per pound depending where you get it from.  6oz of chicken has almost as much protein has 2 scoops of protein (depending on the brand). It's a toss up, but you're probably better off eating food.

As far as "best" protein to get. ISO-100 by dymatize is good and so is R1 protein

Yeah its not that cheap around here haha wish it was

ON Gold Standard - Double Rich Chocolate/Vanilla Ice Cream

They're both great tasting and you could always add fruits in your shake for a different taste. I would imagine if you did that to cookies and cream it would destroy the flavor, but who knows I might be wrong.

Only downside to ON Gold Standard is that it's only 24g of protein per scoop, but it sells for a reasonable price

Cant go wrong with chocolate , or just eat a chicken breast instead of buying powder

Chicken is really cheap, but there is no cheaper protein source than whey protein. If you buy 20 lbs a time it only costs you like.. ¢25-30 a scoop

Is it cheaper than cellucor cookies n cream? Cause I had vanilla before and didnt really like it. Maybe a cheap brand?

And I'm looking for a balance of good taste and cheap (use it lightly)

imo ON flavors all suck.

Dymatize elite is by far my favorite. I like their chocolate and mocha flavors

The cheapest you can find, which also has the highest protein per serving.

Do you drink your protein out of a solid gold shaker cup?
