I'd say get a professional whitening. Else it can cause serious sensistivity and be quite a painful processs.

some whiteners can be really harsh on the enamel, sensitivity is a known side effect sometimes

The shit you buy from the store is multiple use. Personally, each tray I used hurt like hell. So I stopped after 2-3 trays and got no results.

But if I cared enough i'd wait for a groupon and get a professional whitening for 150$. Maybe it would hurt but it's all done in 1 go.

My teeth are white, like normal or a bit better than average. When I came back from Spain last year with a mid brown tan in contrast to my usual pale white complexion, I found my teeth looking ridiculously white.

Zyzz might have paid money to make his teeth better/whiter but his deep tan helps a great deal for sure. Iirc he was quite brown naturally, AND went on sunbeds so he ended up with a very dark skin colour. What the guy said in one of the first posts is right, tanning helps alot, although by no means am I recommending going all Jersey Shore

Yeah I didn't consciously go full tan for teeth whitening purposes, it was just something I noticed when I got back from holiday.

That pro whitening tooth paste in supermarkets works average at best, it is mainly a marketing ploy.
