5/3/1 is the shit

Did the BBB and really enjoyed it.
Am still doing it but only lift 2 days per week. Doing the 2 day template he has.

well without realizing it i'm pretty much doing a variation of 5/3/1 atm (4 day a week main lifts + 2-3 accessories) but not as much volume and without the mesocycles

might as well make the switch and hopefully add more size

4 weeks to get back to maintenence tops if you're looking to base your shit off science. There is no research that backs prolonged increases in calories vs jumping back to maintenance in a few weeks. A month is more than safe as far as I know.

I know layne advocates long increases back to maintenence but as far as I'm concerned, that's just a ploy to get clients to spend crazy money. There is no real science that backs that.
