You have to understand one thing, doing crunches & ab work out is very important for your posture but it won't give you a 6pack, ever notice why soccer players have six packs? because they do a lot of cardio and don't have body fat. If you want "tonned" muscles first you will have to "grow" muscles. For you to grow muscles you will have to workout and eat a lot, by eating a lot you will be gaining weight ( muscle + fat ) after you get sum muscle you lose weight.

if u don't rly want big muscles then any rando workout would be fine actully -_-

So I gotta mix a lot of cardio into it no matter what I'm trying to accomplish?

I suck at gym and workout like you but

Imo if u aren't obese or super fat

First 3 months from now...try small diet and cardio to lose weight
Last 2 months (november december and possibly january depending when u start) train to get more muscle...do weights etc

Just my opinion

eat at a caloric deficit and do a strength program. we can help you figure out your caloric needs as well as recommend strength programs.

you don't need cardio if your diet is in check.

I'd probably have a really hard time with a diet, depending on what it's like... any rough idea of what it'd be like?

I'm 6'2 ish, 180lbs if that helps, but I dont have bmi info, etc.

6'2 180lbs dosen't sound that bad.
I've lost 22lbs in... 6 monthsish whilst gaining some strength and eating what I want (just couting calories, eating choclate etc still when I want it)

Check my profile in my pics, 172lbs-160lbs pic and now I'm 150lbs.

age? and judging by your height and weight it seems like you're underweight and I'm not sure I would recommend a caloric deficit. pictures would be beneficial.

I'm afraid that you'll drop weight and not be satisfied with the result. You will have very little bodyfat and the man boobs issue will probably be lessened however you won't have much muscle mass. It's completely up to you what you want to look like though.

the diet will be very flexible if you choose to cut. you can pretty much eat whatever the fuck you want, just in smaller portions. and you'll need to make sure you get adequate protein

18, forgot that part.
I'll try to find a pic, if I can't, I'll go take one with my shit blackberry.

I'm definitely not underweight though, I'm pretty sure that my body fat % is like 2x, and most likely high 20s, so I'm trying to lessen that a lot.. that's why I want to mix in workout with diet so that my weight stays the same, but I loss fat %.. so I guess.... in a way, I do want my muscles to get bigger? cus that's the only way I can achieve that haha
