I made these, but changed them up a little bit.

We used 4 sweet potatoes (boiled for 15 minutes, then mashed)
~3 cups of milk
4 eggs, beaten
~2tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup butter
3 cups whole wheat flour
2 tbsp salt
2 tbsp baking powder
cinnamon and nutmeg to taste

Sift dry ingredients, and mix them into wet ingredients, etc

Thanks for the idea tho, they turned out awesome. Threw the leftover ones in the toaster to eat with my eggs this morning.

those sound great too. i will try and add some vanilla to my next batch.

i didn't make mine small enough to put in a toaster so i have to use a microwave to reheat.

Yeah, anytime I'm making something "non-savory" I tend to always add cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla.

And you'll really like them out of the toaster. They're warm and a little crispy on the outside.

looking at this an hour later, i realized you're supposed to put them in the toaster after they're cooked. fml
