How do you manage to date someone who you are incompatible with in the most basic of things, for 1,460 days?

That fear of being alone, the need to be loved. Humanity is humorous.

And you are supposed to retain your own identity even when you're married, hopefully you've learned your lesson.

What are you talking about?

We've continued learning new things about each other each and every day. We finally reached a point 2 days ago where we KNEW that we weren't compatible. Like I already said, we loved each other, had fun and were also best friends.

You should be able to tell if you are compatible with someone or not in a month's time (at most). You don't look at actions, but rather the intentions behind those actions.

The last part of my statement shouldnt be past tense, rather present.
I just saw her a few hours ago tonight and we joked around and talked for a bit, and everything was fine, just super weird

We've talked about it, but we want to try having space and doing our own things.
For her, I was her first sexual partner.

For me, she is my first long term relationship.

We both are curious what else is out there.




Let me put it this way:
For 2 years we were both architecture majors, she liked physical activities and sports, as do I. She liked my family and being around me, and again, the same for me minus the family. For the second 2 years I taught her web design and programming/development and she now works at GoDaddy...
Except for a few things we are/were very compatible.

You still haven't learned anything. God damn dude, 4 years and you're still going to fuck up your next relationship.

None of that matters. Your moral views, goals, and "attributes" matter, everything else is based off of those three.

What the hell do you mean by attributes? We are both physically attracted to each other.

The only "attributes" we didnt have in common were religion and politics. Politics being laughable and religion being something we both put to the side.

You can't truely KNOW someone in a month, sorry, you're wrong, ignroant, stuipid, or all of the above
