Yeah, Nutiva would be my second choice over Manitoba Harvest, I heard they're pretty good.

Hemp is expensive because you have to apply to get a license to grow it and only a few companies have obtained them.

Blame big government, why is hemp illegal? They'll tell you it's because people will be able to grow marijuana in hemp fields.

You tell them this.

If you grow marijuana in a hemp field, the thc of each harvest will go down drastically thanks to the dominant genes in hemp, and that hemp has not even 1% thc. Making the marijuana worthless in a few grows.

Fucking morons.

yeah i forgot all about that, it's bad enough that you need a license to harvest the legal stuff, and in many states it's even banned, to harvest at least anyways.

I buy hemp on discount from Whole Foods. It's a food store around my place. I don't know if anywhere else has it. I tend to stay away from protein shakes and creatine and the like, since I had a bad experience with a protein shake the last time I had one.
I'm not hating on protein shakes at all, in case anyone decides to troll me.

I'm just saying there's something about a lot of the protein shake brands that make me sick, so I stick to Hemp seeds

Do you know the rate of which the protein is digested/absorbed into your body?

I'm not sure tbh, I honestly never thought of looking this up, but hemp is considered the most easily digested plant based protein out there, if this helps.

is this real life?

hemp protein = $250 for the same amount of protein and servings you would get for $40 of whey

It is not some minor price different it is massive, and I go through a $40 tub of whey in about a month, no way in hell can I afford $250 a month on just protein powder.
