Okay, but do you have any tips for buying fish that will keep well and are also good for me. I think tuna is a lean fish, but I don't know much about fish at all.

I eat eggs, but I don't want to eat more than 1 yolk a day due to the cholesterol. I think I'm fairly healthy.

Egg whites.
Tilapia.

So do you have any ideas for breakfast? Should I eat egg whites and what kind of nuts? Fish oil at breakfast? How do I consume fish oil. I know some of these are googleable, but help if you can.

You really don't have to worry about the cholesterol in eggs. I've eaten 3-4 eggs every day for the past year and my cholesterol is at a healthy level. And I don't do cardio :P
But Tuna, halibut, salmon, tilapia are all pretty good fish.

Any tips on looking for good brands to buy fish from? Obviously something without breading and sauce, but I'm not exactly sure if I buy them from a meat counter or what?

E: What if I bought egg whites and ate one egg and then some egg whites (to keep my cholesterol intake down).

Yeah, just try to buy the fillets as you would by a steak or something. Or just get the entire fish and fillet it yourself

Do they freeze well? What's a good serving of fish with a meal?

Thanks for your help. What do you recommend on the side? Lots of steamed vegetables? I'd prefer not to eat too many raw veggies :P

What about cheese, that's pretty fatty, so I should avoid it right?

Does anyone have any tips on packing lunches? I don't have microwave access, so it could be tricky.

I'm a Pescatarian if you want to get picky.

E: I'm not trying to make this some rigid "I love animals" scene kid thing or whatever it seems to be. I just made a lifestyle choice for the experience, and I genuinely enjoy it.

You enjoy having a limit on what you can eat?

I hear prison employs a similar tactic.

It teaches self-discipline, which I'm lacking, and since I seem to have adapted well I enjoy the success of my trial.

I had a fillet of tilapia today. I'm not a big fish guy, so that was frustrating to choke down.
