He is just trying to take your money since he thinks you trust him so much..

And I used to take 15-30g of Glutamine a day.. But now I take a supplement that gets minimized from glutamine/fish oil/any inflammatory supplements.

i kinda thought that but man he tells me not to buy a lot of his stuff lol
i asked him if i should buy some glutamine to stack with my protein and he said nah you have enough already in the protein
why the hell would he do that and this was when i was just buying protein he didnt try to sell me anything else

he does try and push prohomones everytime i go in though heh

OH also
Creatine, take it once daily before workout, or once daily after workout, or 2x daily? curious about this for both the loading phase and maintenence phase

Gluatimine helps with recovery time.. So if your sore as hell always after your workouts and the consecutive days its good to get some Gluatmine and BCCA's in you. Also helps rebuild muscle a little bit faster.. I think. And for the creatine you dont really need a loading phase.. Its just a thing they say to do so you use more creatine.. Thats my personal opinon.. And I take 5 G's before a workout and 5 g after.. Some people only take it after workouts.. Its kinda up to you how you want to do it honestly.

glutamine should already be in your whey protein and if you arent taking protein powder you are worthless

and i got a question

I have been a long time customer with a shopowner and he normally tells me things strait, and i went in there today looking for creatine, and like always he tells me creatine wont do anything but add waterweight and i will lose 100% of my gains and he was trying to tell me this other stuff called 'Con - Crete' was the only creatine he knows of that works, but i insisted on buying the 100% pure micronized creatine monohydrate and he seemed really upset i didnt trust him with his new product

anyone know if there was any truth to this?

A balanced diet is 100% achievable without protein powders, it is purely a tool to help reach appropriate macronutrient needs easier, because of its lean nature. I've met many people who have excelled without supplementing protein but their diets are so finely tuned that I really don't see the point...Its such an easy alternative, and a great ingredient for recipes!

Also about the creatine, i should say the shop owner is BSing you. People get these crazy ideas in their minds that only ONE product and ONE brand works for them, etc. But consider this, while dietary supplements aren't FDA regulated they would never sell if they did not produce their proposed effects. Think of the money a company needs to produce a product such as a certain brand of creatine mono...To keep their line running they will need revenue which will come from return customers (first-timers only bring in so much..). It is my honest opinion that most over-the-counter creatine monos are safe and effective, given that they follow the general standard for other mono powders. What I think you need to look out for most is these ridiculous products the likes of which Muscle Tech produces which claim even more ridiculous gains in such a short amount of time. Those are the real offenders in my eyes.

What's an important supplement many people overlook?
Obv not whey or multiple vit. Fish oil is popular but what about some amino acids?

Loading phase you're looking at 20-25g a day, spread out evenly, your body can only digest about 50mg/kg of bodyweight at a time so spread it out accordingly. This comes out to about 4-5g at once but people usually take it at and in excess of 5g because optimal digestion levels are not always present, after a week or two of loading, I'd lower it down to 5-10g though some of this should come from your diet.

Oh and lastly, take your creatine down with high-carb drinks for optimal digestion!

lol yeah a couple years ago i bought this muscle tech package bullshit that had creakic gakic and leukic and anator and aplodan in it, all bullshit stuff that does nothing and i spent like 85 dollars on it, there was even some douche bag in there who wasnt working who said he gained 25 lbs while he was on it, that was my one stupid newbie buy

and Honestly, creatine is an amino acids, amino acids ARE common supplements that are not overlooked tbh
you will often have a few in your proteins as well
when the package says 100% whey protein it isnt JUST protein there is all kinds of other stuff in there you need to gain muscle

damn lol i thought when they say 20-30g a day they were meaning at one time I already took that after my workout
So you say maybe take like 5mg 4-5 times a day? and then in the maintenance phase i just do 1 5g or 2 5g a day? when should i take all these?

and yeah i am taking it with grape juice, the purest i could find, couldnt find any without absorbic acid or whatever it is called that preserves it, that got me a little worried since i hear you are not suppose to take creatine with acidic juice

The loading phase spread 4 or 5 times a day at random, spread out evenly. Try to drink it with something with high GI (NOTHING CITRIC <- may cause breakdown) as insulin helps drive more creatine into muscle cells. After your loading phase (my suggestion is a week long). You're back to maintenance, I personally take 5g a day but many others take 10g a day without adverse effects. Creatine timing is highly debated but i follow Layne Norton's advice in taking one serving AFTER workout with a high GI substance for optimal absorption and if you're going to take another 5g serving (total 10 a day) then Pre workout is a good idea for that.
