one of the trainers i go to weekly, wants to manage me for awhile, teach me some take downs.. and try and win it there.. ground and pound. Not gonna do it either way tho.

a 5-0 guy SHOULD kick your ass in the first round anyday. Don't do this, you won't learn anything at all from a 3 minute fight.

Train a bit and then aim for some MMA scrub with like a 1-2 record.

This is a serious post btw:

Strap on some boxing gloves, line up 5 of your friends, and beat the shit out of them 1 by 1. When the first one goes down/bleeds/or gets KO'd, the next friend is up. Should help on your stand up.

I've decided im just going to take some kickboxing and grapling matches b4 i fight mma. That way if i lose, it won't go on my record, and its good practice.

In all honesty though, if you do this shit and you keep doing it and work your ass off and realize that you're training mma not UFC, then kudos to you.
