Hey all!

So I'm on the path of trying to eat a bit healthier and I'd like to lean into my love of broccoli on this.
It's the one vegetable I can literally eat every single day of my life for every meal. For realzies.
My problem is that I tend to like it with lots of sauces or unhealthy things added for fast food means and I'd like to break away from that.
I'd like to find some good recipes to cook chicken/broccoli with in stir fry or other means for a lunch and dinner, something that isn't a immediate jump to healthy basic grilled broccoli and oven roasted chicken but a good step forward in the right direction.
The means for this would be to try and incorporate a meal I find tasty and easy enough to prepare for lunch/dinner, meal prepping would be a huge plus as well.
I've had boiled broccoli with seasoned oven roasted chicken and sure, that's a fantastic dinner item, but if I can't mix that up in other ways to enjoy it then I'd eventually crave those unhealthy sauces and otherwise.
Let me know your dishes and thoughts as I'd love to hear them! Remember, it's not a fight for the healthiest dish but rather dishes to help start on the track of being healthier versus things like fast food and such.

Appreciate your thoughts and experiences!

Please never boil broccoli ever again, oven roast it at the same time as your chicken! adding an olive oil spray, salt, garlic powder, and onion powder really helps elevate the flavour. The same seasoning strategy can be added to your chicken.

Back when I used to cook, what I liked to do was stir-fry broccoli in oil in a pan, till it was slightly browned and crispy. This gave it flavor. Then I poured a little bit of water into the pan and then put the lid on tight. The steam generated this way would cook the broccoli thoroughly, without making it dry because of all that moisture. End result? Fully cooked, golden crispy broccoli that was juicy and not dry.

Broccoli or spinace are neither healthy nor nutricious (what doesn't make you saturated makes you hungry then you eat junk food inbetween), people just don't know better. I'd be looking into different types of lentils, very nutricious, in combination with rice you get all the proteins you need and all the other elements like magnesium, then there are real salads you can get saturated from. Look into Greek and Italian cuisine for real salads with cheese, veggies etc.
Rule N.1, if you feel hungry after you just ate your diet isn't gonna work. Rule N.2, if the thing you eat taste like crap but is "healthy" you aren't going to stick to that diet for long. I'd also ration the amount of meat one eats to 1-2 times per week.

have a ton of different condiments and cycle through them.

as said, cut your chicken in very small pieces, I use a scissors.

I usually boil the fuck out of the chicken until you can cut it with a spoon lol.
