Closed up my stance about an inch or two, but near lockout my ring finger of my "over" hand (the one facing toward me) catches on my quad. Got skin ripped off the tip of my finger from just 5 reps. It's a lot of friction and it makes the lift awkward and tougher than it needs to be at lockout.

Sounds like your hips are firing too early. Lower the weight and work on form and staying tight.

😂😂, grab a broom and get into your stance, now fire up your hips and tell me where your hands land.

Just throw some baby powder on your quad and tape your fingers.

Are your quads sandpaper or do you have some psoriasis issues on your hands?

Get tougher hands. Problem solved.

How does skin dragging on skin cause skin to come off. No how hard I grind my fingers across my quad it dosent even create a mark on finger or quad. I assume it's getting jammed between bar and quad. Just narrow in your grip by half an inch or so. When I sumo as a 6'1 person my grip is half knurling half smooth. No grip issues even at 600 dispite half smooth.

My grip is nearly all smooth, I am a slender man. I'll try go a bit more narrow
