Can you get muscle gains without protein in your diet? For example, i'm wondering how people in prison are in so great shape with their diet,... Pretty sure they aren't getting the protein they need.
Reason i ask, is it's kind of hard to get the amount of protein you need in your diet everyday..... I weight around 210 pounds, not sure how much protein i need per day, from google, i think roughly 140-200grams a day, depending on the source from google.....
But i'm having trouble getting that much protein in per day.... and i prefer to workout everyday, and i think my muscles are eating themselves, cuz i'm not getting enough protein?

what do you eat as a 210 lb person lifting weights intensely every day that you're not consuming 140-200 grams of protein without even trying

Hmmm, depends on the day i suppose... Most of the food i eat, is not high in protein, for example pasta....
Most of the food i eat, is high in calories/carbs, but not protein lol

What if i'm averaging 50-110grams of protein per day, and i weight around 210 pounds...?

get a protein supplement and take 2 scoops a day.

That's why i've been asking... I don't really have money for it lol haha
