Hey everyone, I'm having a pretty serious issue.

When I do incline bench, and even bench now. I'm having extremely bad pain in my shoulders. It feels like they are tearing. Today I did 135 incline did 4 just fine the 5th and 6th got weaker and weaker.

Then I dropped weight all the way to 95lbs and I could only do 1 then just the bar and I could only do 1.

I'm in alot of pain atm.

This is an issue that keeps coming back frequently. The rest of my body is gaining great and not having any issues. My shoulders are torture.

I tried changing grip, position, resting for a month. It's insane how weak my shoulders are. And they grew like 1.5 inches over the past 2 months.

if anyone has a solution please help.

My 2 partners I work out with don't have any issue with the bar tho. Why is the bar the issue? I'm down to give up the bar if it's the problem.

When you train only a part of your shoulder muscles it is possible for your humerus to migrate and cause a dysbalance in your joint. Your shoulder has more muscles than the ones you can train to look fit..
Consider visiting a physiotherapist to exclude rotator cuff/labrum issues.

do you feel your shoulder clicking when you raise your arms in certain ways?

do you have bad posture all the time by having a desk job?

do you work out your rotator cuffs?

Had the same problem. Went to a physio. He did a massage of the rear Delts...I nearly cried it was so painful.

They hurt for the next 3 days.

After that he had given me some basic exercises to strengthen the muscles surrounding rear Delts and traps. Did so for ~ 2 months and didn't train shoulders or chest.

No pain anymore
