know some people who do this and make a lot just charging up front fees for "if" scenarios. it sucks if it snows a lot, if it doesn't they are in the money.
100 houses at $150 per month from november to end of march is 5 months is 75k for 5 months. your overhead costs are mainly attributable to trucks and snow removal equipment and manpower but the trucks are one time cost and the manpower can be contracted at basically minimum wage.
Vouch. There is a TON of money in snow removal up north.
IMO, you don't have to be smart to make it through a 2 year associates degree program, and really through a 4 year bachelors degree program, but you definitely need to be dedicated and hard working.
Try seeing a career counselor that is actually trained in something like this as we can only give you suggestions of things we like.
If you want a career, you need to find something you at least somewhat like.
