this mixing it up is pivotal when it comes to gains, don't forget resistance bands. I like to mix in resistance bands every day just for something different to confuse the muscles.

also this, research and ask people that are clearly successful what lifts they recommend and advise against. depends on yourself as well if you have bad knees look into alternatives than squats or things like that are hard on knees.
