Trying to get some strength back, I had back surgery in Sept 2015 and have been doing PT since April 2016.
I'm at 40% back strength and 50% leg strength.
Spinal fusion at my L4-L5.


Can't do's:
Sit-ups
Bend at the waist
Twist
Run
Jump

Can do's:
Use arms






Pretty much looking for ways to improve my overall core strength, my leg strength, and my arm strength.
I don't need to add mass or bulk up.
Currently able to lift up to 35lbs IF NECESSARY (Pretty much if my kid needs me to pick him up)

your pt is treating you, you shouldnt be asking a bunch of non health care professionals

I'm not going to do anything I can't do.
Just wondering about exercises that can build up strength without bulking up.

There are plenty of exercises that you can do lying down.
Like I said, not trying to be "cut" or bulk up I just want to strengthen my core so my back doesn't hurt as much.

Hanging Leg raises=bent at the waist bro.

I mean, I'm sure there are plenty of exercises to work the core, but with his restrictions I'd stick with PT and eat healthy.
