Personal favorite was a power gaining routine I did by layne norton
Five day split
Heavy upper
Heavy lower
Rest
Back/shoulders
Lower body
Chest/arms
Rest

Was a nice routine

I'm kind of making my own ish. I took the Starting Strength 3x5 program, that emphasizes on the 3 big movements, and I'm adding volume to it on my 'rest' days.

I remember doing PHAT when i first started but man I was in the gym a good two hours on that upper and lower day. Easily 2 hours with warm up and a light stretch. By the time I walked 15 minutes each way plus the gym time I was pushing 3 hours. It was fine when I was in University but now that's just not possible.

Yeah being in the military I really messed up my back so it's hard for me to do some things that I'm actually not supposed to squat or dad live so. That is why I spent so long away from the gym but here I am

Monday, wednesday & friday = bodybuilding (chest, upper back, arms, shoulders)
Tuesday, thursday & saturday = olympic lifting, deads/pulls, legs & core.
Sunday = Active recovery - row, sled, calisthenics etc

Gets a nice amount of volume in and allows me to regulate a lot with weights/exercises.
