So I'm looking to figure out what progressive overload is, and to make sure I'm doing this in my PPL 6x a week split.
Also- with this type of split, how often do I want to increase my weights and by how much? Also, only on big compound movements? Or on everything.

Progressive overload is the gradual increase of stress placed upon the body during exercise.

So it's a linear increase of weight.. LINEAR, that means FUCKING ADD WEIGHTS AND STOP ASKING STUPID FUCKING QUESTIONS.

seriously bro, I've been lifting for like 8 or 9 months and I figured that shit out in 1 minute.

i feel bad for you getting ripped on in every thread.
but legit everything you need to know is online and literally seconds away

this forum is generally better for asking about peoples experience in lifting, like how they did this, or enjoyed that, or posting videos and pictures to continue the motivation

we love helping but more complex questions seem to get a better response in terms of answers.

easy ones that can be googled and read in 30 seconds get these replies.

You can attain progressive overload without increasing weight. Change the speed or cadence of your reps, increase volume at the same weight, decrease rest times. Progressive overload is just an increase in training stimulus but that doesn't strictly mean a change in weight
