I've bought this like a month ago or whenever it was

Used it a couple times and it gives my skin itching and red irritation on skin after a few hours
Cause?

I've read that it's supposed to help reduce itching (in some of the "pros" of a beard brush)

And should I clean the brush under water or not? I feel it would make the bristles less hard

i have a boar bristle brush, but the handle is made of wood. i would not rinse the brush with water if it is made out of wood.....

how long is your beard? yea the brush will irritate your skin if you are brushing your skin and not your beard hair...

i also only use the brush once a day

Not that long, shaved all last month when I bought a new trimmer and cut the length too short lol

~3 weeks length approx

Its impossible to brush without applying pressure on the skin, I dont have a lumberjack beard nor have intention to

I like to keep it at 5 weeks length ish

and yes I use it one time per day or few days.

maybe you're allergic, or maybe you just have sensitive skin. Boar bristles are pretty rough.

yea this...

if ur beard hair isnt even half an inch long then dont even use the boar bristle brush. of course its going to irritate your skin... and since u do it more than once a day, thats more cause for irritation

Because some hairs grow in a few different directions on the sides of my jaw like under and I need to brush it so it train to grow all same direction

And to remove unruly hairs etc. a comb is actually better for longgggg beard, brush for shorter ones..

- I only do it once after I shower
