My deadlift.max.has always out perfromed by squat max. Idk why but squats are so much harder on my body

Are you forgetting that you need to count your body weight with the squat?

A 315 lb deadlift is 315 lbs

But a 225 lb squat you must add your body weight because you are also squatting the weight of your body

A 225 squat for a 200 lb man = 425 squat (assuming you squat deep)

... but you also need to lift your own body weight up for deadlifting

do you add 10 lbs for your arms when doing curls?

Lol no i do factor in the 45 lb barbell though..

Does this mean when i do pull ups im actually doing 175 lb weighted pull ups? Damn im strong

I thought since you only lift the bar halfway up with a deadlift you only add at most half your body weight
