I actually just dropped weight in the name of form, and after my last set I noticed that my left hip was hurting.. Kind of a dull, throbbing pain..

Any idea? It doesn't hurt during the lift at all, only after the set was done..

It's the lateral side of the hip on the left side.. Like around the origin of the sartorious.

If that doesn't explain it well enough, I'll post a pic when I get home tomorrow

Try resting up a bit, don't over do it. This happens when you over do it.

stretch your glutes/quads and try opening your hips up a little before you squat (with stretching)

Strength training tightens your muscles up and if you keep doing it without ever stretching eventually you'll just get pain because other muscles try to compensate for your tight muscles when you do exercises.

So the pain, or rather sensation, has almost completely gone away.. I only feel a little bit of discomfort when I walk at a pace.. Thanks guys, stretching more it is!

I would recommend taking a week off of lifting and completely work on stretching your hip flexors, hamstrings, quads, gastroc-soleus complex.
