I went to the doctor a back in January, got a x-ray. He said based on it, my AC joints were slightly widened. I got an MRI done, and I got two indications of possible SLAP lesions in both shoulders, but after performing the tests for stability etc, he said I don't need surgery.
My question is, does this shit ever go away? I havent lifted in so long, I miss the intensity of training. I mean I can kind of do cardio, which is fine, but nothing compares to lifting.
The only thing that can be done is resting too, according to him. Is there any kind of stretches I can do to correct the issue? I did a lot of over head press and that's how it started to begin with.
Thank u bros
If you never stretched after lifting then yes that's probably why your problems started. I'd recommend hanging from a bar to stretch out your shoulders and surrounding muscles.
Also rolling the muscles around your shoulder with a ball can help loosen the muscles up like massage.
