I have a day dedicated to shoulders in my routine and it helped quite a bit with developing them

Upper/lower > PPL IMO, but just add lateral raises... Reverse flies , band pulls , black burns and face pulls

Only while doing a seated vertical bench press...

I used to follow a split that combined shoulders with chest, was not pleased with it.

My advice to OP would be to include shoulders after leg day.

OHP, barbell & dumbell
Side raises
Front raises
Face pulls

Water your shoulders every 2 days and they should grow.

I do every main lift twice per week, ohp as well. Got face pulls on pull days and I already added band accessories.
Hopefully time will heal those wounds and mental scars :D
