I do 1 day cardio, 2 days lifting, I don't have substantial goals, not trying to be the next instagram sensation, just healthy.... unfortunately, poor eating habits are keeping me down

HOWEVER, my trainer at the gym is a macro cruncher, and he manages the same diet every single day...and loves it

his food is gross to me and I am unwilling to eat cottage cheese and protein powder....so fucking gross

I need a daily food regimen , I can easily fall into patterns of eating the same thing

Requirements

- must meet most food needs, I do daily multivitamin so I don't expect perfect macros

- Approximately 1500-1800 calories ( I am trying to lose about 10-15 lbs over the next few months )

- Relatively cost affordable

- No strange food, I am not adventurous

Was thinking like blended fruit smoothies for breakfast

Lunch would be fresh veggies , and greek yogurt with nuts/granola

Dinner would be chicken, rice, veggies

something like that?

sounds good. now just increase quantity until you reach the calories you want and you should be all set.

idk what you eat now but assuming you eat atleast 2500 calories right now i wouldnt just drop that much right away. drop a couple hundo and wait a week or so to see your results and then maybe drop a few more and so on. but idk ive never cut.

This is a good advice, as i presume you are relatively new with weight loss.

If you drop your calorie intake straight away it might make your weight loss harder, because you are not accustomed with the new calorie intake (probably you could feel a bit less energetic being in a caloric deficit)

Of those food examples you gave, i would advice start making those changes one by one, change the breakfast first, next week the lunch etc etc. That way you can get a good look about how you feel with eating that food and see if its the right for you :)

Good luck with your journey ! :)

also if you drop 700 or so calories at once your bodys going to assume there is some kind of famine and go into survival mode and start storing everything as fat.. its science.. probably idk but it sounds good.

Nobody is going to make you a meal plan because nobody is going to take the time to figure out what your picky ass wants to eat. You know the foods you like, count out calories for them and do your shit yourself. It sounds like you know what your pt wants you to eat. Replace his foods with one's you like that have a similar macro composition
