if i wanted to squat and dl twice a week instead of the 3x a week, how would i increase the %. anybody can help??

405 squat and 500 dl lol

Currently just doing both once a week. But I don't want to do 3x a week.

Elaborate on how exactly you want to squat/deadlift.

Do you mean 2 days a week you will squat and deadlift?

Could be something like

Day 1: Sets of 6 with 75%
Day 2: Sets of 4 with 80%
Day 1: Sets of 2 with 85-90%
Day 2: Sets of 6 with 75%
...

so for moving from say volume to intensity, is the main difference the % of max youre working with?

For volume you would work with 6 or more for some time. and move more toward what I've posted when you are looking more for strength.

The texas method is essentially dup

You could do an upper / lower version of the texas methodd


Day 1: Bench OHP Rows. High rep 75%
Day 2: squats, deadlifts, core. High rep 75%
Day 3: rest
Day 4: bench rows arms. Triples or doubles 85%
Day 5: squats, deadlifts, core. Triples or doubles 85%


Then gradually add weight each week
