just starting to get into some oly lifting, are the shoes worth the investment? if so, what brand is best, adidas or nike? and where is the best place to order?

if ur just starting out i wouldnt sweat it. starting something new gives u that high which has u spending money. just wear whatever u already have. simple sneakers.

it's more than that. if you haven't proper ankle flexibility than the shoes can help. you should be able to hold a ass to grass bodyweight squat for a long period of time without falling backwards. if you fall backwards it's a sign of tight ankles.

add the oly shoes...and you likely won't fall back anymore.
