Anyone have any livestream info yet on the event this weekend? Looking for something I don't need a credit card for.
A guy I work with is competing in the Amateur Strongman, and it would be cool to watch.

Was planning to go, but other expenses came up. Namely, buying a house. And yeah, still working there. just over 5 years in the dept. now.

Thought I read that it would be broadcasted through digitalmuscle.com, don't know the extent of the coverage or times however.

Cost me a one month $20 sub, but it's worth it to see a guy I work with and grew up with to compete.


Unfortunately he's not doing too well. HW class. 330# log c&p x 4, and didn't finish frame carry (730#)

Still not doing great. No reps at 675# DL. Hopefully he makes up some points in the Keg/Sandbag medley. Strongest event at Nationals last year, so maybe.

What's he doing there if he can't do 675 at heavyweight? (no offense, grats to him for making it there, I'm just curious)

To be honest, looking at him in the events, it seems like the pressure of the event is getting to him. Either that, or his recovery between events isn't great.

To be fair, though, he's not the only one that wasn't able to pull. Sometimes that'll happen in amateur.
