What is your height?

All you have to do is cut back down the calories, preferably while keeping Protein high.

Find out your TDEE, consume less calories than your TDEE. Lose 1-2lb in a week.

Lets say your TDEE is 3000 calories a day for maintenance.

Depending on how much weight you want to lose, I would go about 2000 calories a day, keeping you at a 7000 calorie deficiency for the 7 days which should be around ~2LB.

I don't think so.

I follow this while doing IF and I'm never hungry, I think your metabolism adapts a bit.

I think 2lb a week is safe.

Horrible advice. I wouldn't go that substantial at all - shoot for 100-200 under your TDEE or more severe health problems could arise.

The key is it takes time. Your nutrition outline above is solid - add some more eggs though.

His TDEE can very likely be around 2500, depending on his height, which would only be 500 calorie deficiency which is a good number.

I used an example to demonstrate a bit of how it works.

But sure, horrible advice.

your example isnt good because you recommended going 1k under, if its 2500, according to your advice he'd eat 1.5k

500 deficit is ok, depends on how much mass youre willing to lose vs losing fat speed

Correct.

"Depending on how much weight you want to lose"
I chose the word weight rather than fat for a reason.

OP said: "wanting to lose strictly weight"

I am going to assume he means fat and doesn't care about optimal muscle mass preservation.

Look up TDEE, your calorie intake as others are discussing is something you have to decide.

Also said he did bodybuilding, would be kinda pointless to lose all the gains and become smeagol
