What's the deal with swimming? All I hear is people saying 'oh, you know, it works every muscle in your body' but to me it seems like a less efficient way of toning compared to modest weight training coupled with some other forms of cardio. Are there any benefits of swimming that separate it from other methods of exercise and offer something I'm overlooking?

What's the deal with weighlifting? All I hear is people saying 'oh, you know it works every muscle in your body' but to me it seems like a less efficient way of getting stronger compared to modest swimming coupled with some bodyweight exercises. Are there any benefits of weightlifting that separate it from other methods of exercises and offer something I'm overlooking?

Exercise is exercise. Some people don't like lifting weights or running on a track so they swim. It's just another method of fitness for some people.

Longterm you get actually decent athletic physique while maintaining good conditioning.

Bro

The pool I play water polo at ... There's a swim team that trains there at the same time ... They are all shredded and aesthetic as fuck. Clearly there is some link ... Some are teens, some are adults.
