Hello all, I have met somewhat of a crossroads in my routine and just wanna see other opinions. First off, I'm only asking to 100% ensure if its an objective fact or mere opinion based off knowledge. My buddies believe it is too much work on legs in 1 week, but it seems their limits are purely mental because like Cory Gregory with squat every day, after 2 weeks i feel great and it's like second nature but they insist I'm fortunate/getting hurt any day.
Monday morning: 15x hill sprints, agility, 3x uphill forward lunges, 3x uphill side lunges, 3x uphill backward lunges
4x super sets of floor core (planks sit-ups mason twists)
Stretch recover
mid day: 9x sets of box jumps (3 seated, 3 from sit-up position, 3 regular)
3x sets of split box jumps
5x sets of jump ropes
5x sets of calf raises
5x sets of burpees
5x Hanging ab supersets (leg raises, windshield wipers)
Night time: weighted session
3x sets of 1 legged step up knee drives (105 lb barbell)
3x sets of 1 legged dead lifts (bosu ball)
3x sets of hamstring curls (med ball)
3x sets of explosive 1 legged squats (40 lb kettle bell)
8x standing Ab wheel
Monday - Friday weekend rest
Is this detrimental over an extended period of time? Feel more flexible than ever joints feel great etc and as much as I insist they tell me otherwise. Follow instincts, listen, or mesh?
