So I just started doing barbell squats, after 3 months of going to the gym on a 5-day a week basis...

I do legs but not normally not squats, I found that 185 was a confortable weight for me to do 10 reps of 3 sets

I'm 228lb 6'2
Is this normal for my weight? Friends of mine seem shocked for some reason.

I'd imagine you're ass doesnt even come close to the grass, but 185 for 10 isnt anything special.

Yet it does, and also your* and it's more or less an opinion based question of is this good to start with, thanks for your useless feedback.

That's the plan, i've played Hockey all my life so my legs were never really weak. I never really tried pushing the limit to see how much I could really do.

Put a sextoy at the bottom and make it tickle your anus.

Start big, end small, good luck.

All I was trying to say is you just started so I imagine your form isnt that great and you likely arent going deep enough. 185x10 isnt that much weight if you arent going very deep. I'd watch some youtube videos and make sure you are hitting a decent depth. Especially for squats, ROM > Weight on bar.

I know personally I was a shitty half-squatter for the first 3-6 months I squatted. Once you actually hit decent depth it becomes way, way harder.

And its safe to say that you don't do much weight on any lift either

Good tip op is to film yourself so you can see where you are going wrong, if you are at all. 185x10 is definitely not bad, especially for just starting.
