I'm 29, I eat whatever the fuck I want and however much I want. Granted I don't eat like complete shit. I don't really buy into that whole macro thing though. Make sure you're getting enough food and a reasonable amount of protein and work hard in the gym.

Essentially this, unless you're planning to do modelling or competing professionally - taking the macros/calorie stuff too seriously is a waste.

Just eat relatively healthily and comfortable portions.

Followed a strict diet went from 300lb to 185lb.

Now I just eat whatever I want, which is mostly just high protein foods with veggies and a carb and no longer count my macros.
Happier this way.

Lol d o you even read on science fitness macros ain't bullshit

The perfect balance between fats carbs protein makes a difference of course you don't have to.do macros and you might get ok gains but if you want best performance and results macros do help

It really depends what's your physical activities and caloric needs and metabolic rate

i remember watching a tom hardy interview recently. he completely changed his lifestyle to film warrior, and he hated it.
