I'm 29, I eat whatever the fuck I want and however much I want. Granted I don't eat like complete shit. I don't really buy into that whole macro thing though. Make sure you're getting enough food and a reasonable amount of protein and work hard in the gym.

The perfect balance between fats carbs protein makes a difference of course you don't have to.do macros and you might get ok gains but if you want best performance and results macros do help
It really depends what's your physical activities and caloric needs and metabolic rate
