got a bonus @ work and I don't have life/friends so obv gonna buy lifting gear.

I wanna get

SBD's
sabo deadlift shoes (might get the metal ones, the reviews look better, but I honestly can't get over how butt fucking ugly they are)

I've read reviews that you want to get 2 sizes down for the SBD's cuz it'll add poundage to your squats, but then you can't use that pair for training cuz it'll make your legs/feet fall asleep. I don't wanna get 2 pairs currently, so perhaps go 1 size down from what i measure? or just get normal sizing? (pretty deadset on SBD's over other brands too)

sabo's don't have my size (43 EU) on maxbarbell and afaik that's the only place to buy em they seem to have been out of stock for quite a while aswell, I emailed them hopefully they'll get back to me.

tl;dr

sbds, 2 sizes down 1 size down or normal size? don't wanna get 2 pairs and 2 sizes down apparently can't use in training
sabo's sold out what do

I don't think there's any other lifting equipment I need, perhaps maybe deadlift socks/singlet when/if i decide to compete

My sbds are tight as fuck. I got a medium and wish I had gotten a large. It's a struggle just to get them on lol. I wouldn't do two sizes down.

Edit: you don't need two pairs bc you don't even compete anyway lol.

Just get the size it recommends

what size are you supposed to be? I don't wanna spend more than 2 minutes putting them on and taking em off

I think they sized me for a large. My calves are decently big so it's hard to even get them over. I'm 5"6 180lbs

Don't buy those shoes either. Get Romaleos for squats and deadlift in chucks

If you wanna spend money buy mark bells gangsta wraps and hip circle.

kk I think I'm a medium based off of what I measured, I'll try some different sizes on at my gym tomorrow.

I have romaleos, and I currently pull in chucks, but my feet come over the sides of the shoe, plus the sole is a bit higher off the ground than shoes made just for dls

i have thp's already, hip circle looks decent but I'm sure i could just use the bands in the gym, we have like 50 pairs of bands

Im 6'3 230+ lbs and i wear mediums.

Fold them over and have no problem getting them on. Look up youtube vids on tips to get them on.

In IPF most if not all in the 105 kg class wear mediums

Takes 5 seconds to pull them up each leg

If you dont already, id consider buying a slingshot. They are fun as fuk. I have the full boar one, yellow

Triple edit: i have sabo dl shoes 43-44 and will sell them ded srs.
They are hardly worn, probably 10x max

Slingshot knee sleeves?? Why are they better than the sbds and how the fuk are knee sleeves fun?

Why don't you like your sabo's??? If they're 43 I'll buy em!
