Is it a big deal to avoid doing squats? Discuss

Ive always done leg press, extensions, flexions, adductors and abductors for leg day
But i notice that no one ever does leg press, everyone does squats

Does anyone here do both?

If someone does 1000lbs leg press how much should they do on squat?

You don't squat because not a real man. To become real man you must squat consistently. Leg press will help with squat, but if you have a strong leg press I think you will find that you will not be able to squat very much.

Huh? Strong leg press means weak squat?

What do you squat vs leg press?

Legpress is all different, 500kg can be easy on one and then struggle on half that on another.

Do squats if you can, legpress is a decent alternative.

You're saying one leg press is different from other leg presses?
I mean yea that's basic physics, but in general they are the same.
None of that should matter though, as long as you're getting a good workout, right?

I know everyone says do squats but whats so great about it?
Is it really better than doing my leg routine than doing my back routine?
Im not convinced that squats are amazing and live up to their hype.
I made this thread hoping someone could tell me something i dont know about them.

For all of you who squat do you never touch leg press?
If you've done/do both how much do you do?

Squat trains more muscles and is better overall for strenght, growth and athleticism.
Legpress is a good exercise to complement with though if your focus is bodybuilding.
If you focus on sports/powerlifting/olympic weightlifting squats(front, back, split) and lunges is far superior.

Point being made is that squats are better because you incorporate a greater amount of different muscle groups (stabilizers) to perform a good rep.

Why are you asking 20 questions about it?

Leg presses are "ok".
Squats are superior.

One exercise your back is pushed against a stabilized board where you do not balancing of the weights across your shoulders

The other you do the opposite of everything above.

Weaboo confirmed.
