only in about a 400 deficit but starving, constantly.. not sure how reliable a bmr calc is, but it says mine is about 1700

try to add a bunch of green beans, celery and onions to all my meals.

What do you guys do for satiety? Just more veggies?

I feel like I may not be eating enough but unless it's a day I lift or bike, I am really inactive--sitting in class, sitting and working, reading, etc.

I've been doing this:

breakfast:
2x scoop whey

Lunch:
1 sweet potato
6oz chicken breast
2 cups green beans
1 cup celery
1 cup onions
1 tablespoon olive oil drizzled over everything

snack:
2x hardboiled eggs
1 tablespoon peanut butter (I just scoop it out and eat it off the spoon)

dinner:
same as lunch

snack:
medium/large Apple

so if my bmr is 1700 what am i supposed to do?

meal 1 : 310 cals
meal 2: 460 cals
meal 3: 230 cals
meal 4: 460 cals
apple: 60 cals

1500 cals

increase calorie intake

increase cardio

adjust for appropriate deficit

you should never starve on a cut. you can get bored by the foods but never starve, that's what protein is for.

Isn't bmr just the base? Did u calc ur activity level etc as well ours that's a 1.2x multiplier if you're sedentary.

Woah now. How has nobody pointed out that his BMR is the calories he is burning to survive?!

OP - your BMR is the calories you burn resting. You need to compensate for the exercise! No wonder you're starving!
