Can anybody explain this to me?
It's a 16 hour phase of not eating and an 8 hour period of where you can eat?
You still have to keep your protein in take high and keep your carbs pretty low?

What are the benefits of keeping your carbs high and your carbs almost slim to none?

What hours are the best to do this between? I usually wake up at 830 and go to bed whenever.. Sometimes 12 sometimes 330 am

Yes, you must fast for atleast 16 hours each session.

You should keep the macros at the same level as if you were eating 6x a day.

You should eat as much protein as your body needs (roughly 1.7g / kg). Anything more than that is just preference... mostly for satiety.

You should make sure that your fats are adequate for optimal test levels (I forgot the actual amount per kg or lb... look it up). Anything more than that is just preference and allows you to be a bit more flexible in your diet; however, it does take away from your carbs. The carbs will help keep energy levels high.

After you get you determine your adequate amount of protein & fats, fill the rest of your calories in with carbs.

Now is it more beneficial to eat half my body weight in carbs and just bust my ass with no motivation at the gym ? Or will that serve no purpose and make it miserable? Anything to speed up my goal brotha...

Half your body weight in carbs is still probably extremely low. And no carbs is just silly.

Check out iifym.com that'll help you.

What are you goals? To lose fat? Bulk up?

i can guarantee that u'll receive more benefits by adopting a diet low to moderate in protein at least during fasting. one of the greatest authorities on fasting proved in a study that a low protein meal is to prefer before going on a fast.
the thing is that when u eat high protein before a fast, u're almost sure to suffer autointoxication.

also, the muscle loss is greater when u don't eat carbs. the protein u eat will simply be burned off as energy, and not utilized as building blocks. i could go over this over and over again and if u don't believe me, simply try the different methods and then come back.

the dizziness, insomnia, weakness etc is not due to fasting but because the bloodstream is attacked by fatigue-poisons. protein waste matters etc.

I've been doing this without knowing it for the last couple months. I don't eat when I'm at work so I fast from midnight to 8 or 9 pm. Then I come home and eat a shit load. But only 5 days a week, on my days off I eat whenever. I've lost about 15 pounds so far, from 215-198. I wanna drop to 175ish
