I have health insurance for first time in my life. Had my first physical last week. They did a lipid panel which I was worried about because I tend to eat some garbage foods here and there...
Here's to breaking my HIPA or wahtever, u mirin my lipids?

Cholesterol 0-199 mg/dL 142
Desirable is <200 mg/dL
Borderline is 200-239 mg/dL
High is >=240 mg/dL

Triglycerides 0-149 mg/dL 72
Normal is <150 mg/dL
Borderline High is 150-199 mg/dL
High is 200-499 mg/dL
Very High is >=500 mg/dL
HDL Cholesterol 40-100 mg/dL 43
Low (increased cardiovascular risk) is <40 mg/dL
High (decreased cardiovascular risk) is >60 mg/dL

Cholesterol, Non-HDL 0-<130 mg/dL 99
Desirable is < 130 mg/dL
Borderline High is 130-159 mg/dL
High is 160-189 mg/dL
Very High is > 189 mg/dL

LDL, Calculated 0-129 mg/dL 85
Optimal is <100 mg/dL
Near Optimal is 100-129 mg/dL
Borderline High is 130-159 mg/dL
High is 160-189 mg/dL
Very High is >=190 mg/dL
Cholesterol/HDL Ratio 1.0-4.5 3.3

gratszs on being young and not having a hereditary condition... using this as your baseline, continue to monitor it every few years :)

I'm 31. Gained 60 lbs each pregnancy. Coming back down from 260 (again) dammit.

those are pretty decent numbers, grats. i'm sure as fuck jelly. i've been experimenting with different diets and how they affect my lipids for the past few months due to new insurance late this year. must have been a big relief to see those #s.

but u eat massive amounts of veggies and natural foods....

is your lipid profile out of ranges?

I know but she wouldn't let me go to gym and I ate all the butter soaked delicacies she was craving.
