Wrote my local Fire fighter probationary written aptitude test on April 26th. Walking out of the test I felt like I got a minimum of 90%. Maybe even closer to 95%

Although this was expected, it still feels good. Now I just have to do some focused training for the physical (after the physical I'll switch my training back to what it normally is) and get my resume stuff in order.

Come June I'm expecting to be sitting in an interview :D

The bottom cutoff for the top 100 was 72%. They don't tell what each individual candidate who is moving on received as a score at this point

I also passed all my firefighter tests in January through the Office of the Fire Marshal Ontario, which was unreal

As such, I have my NFPA 1001 FF level I and II, and Haz Mat Operations level as well. My resume has a near laundry list of certifications now lol

Firefighters dont make that much money right? Avg 44k/yr, and it isn't easy to get into either?
