do you guys stretch? if so, when?

it seems to be a unanimous opinion that stretching before a workout is asking for injuries, so there's that.

used to stretch daily while i was doing boxing/jiu-jitsu training, but since starting strength training have only stretched on rest days to keep flexibility.

never stretch before workouts*

it's practical and helps a lot with muscle stiffness and posture, though. that's a fact.

also helps inhibit the growth of fibrous tissue that connects muscles, tendons, and bones that fuck your range of motion as you get older.

guys, don't let your ignorance, egos, and pre-conceived notions stop you from learning about or practicing good health :)

firstly, this:

secondly, this is the kind of ignorance i'm talking about. just to name a few variables off the top of my head, since i need to spell this out for you...

some may stretch the muscles worked directly after a workout. some may do a full-body stretch directly after a workouts. some may stretch daily on a schedule entirely different than their workout routine. some might stretch only on their rest day (like me) some may stretch before a workout and have a crazy theory or a reason why it works for them. some may have a crazy idea about how stretching is bad for you.

who knows? i've learned a lot of resourceful shit so far on this subforum i never expected to.

leave your sissy neurotic emotions about me the fuck outta my threads, big boy. :)
