it's only going to get worse the next few days. (depending on how much you were taking) Some concentrates may help take your mind off things, but it isn't going to fix your bodies in-ability to start regulating chemicals in your brain over night. Your opiate receptors have been so overly saturated, it's going to take time for that shit to level out.

Stay active and busy, keep your mind off things is about all you can do.. and be positive :)

I was a heroin addict for 6 years, there really isn't much you can do without taking more "medicine". If you have access to suboxone that works miracles just don't get addicted to it cuz its worse that heroin wd's. Ive found that ultram kinda helps with the wrestles legs a bit. As for sleep ive taken up to 20 sleeping pills out of desperation to sleep to no affect. The worst of it will be over in 3-4 days. Ive had to go through wd's 3 times in jail and it sucks balls.

/e hot showers always help while your in there and a few mins afterwards.

Ween off them. Its gonna suck for a few days and you'll have waves for a couple of weeks but you'll be in the clear after that.

benzos are pretty gg for helping with insomnia, restlessness, anxiety etc.

yeah you can use antihistamines like Benadryl, doxylamine, chlorpheniramine etc. but their effects are temporary and tolerance occurs quickly (that being said, mild to moderate opiate withdrawal usually won't kill you and really involves symptom treatment... unless you have a physician prescribing for you or a rehab facility to help, then you are on your own and gotta do what you gotta do I suppose...)

/edit - make sure to drink lots of fluid, try to eat what you can... you'll likely get nauseous and have diarrhea (opposing the previous constipation of narcotics) and keep some OTC pain relievers around
